Hi everyone,
We woke up this morning and packed our bags to leave the Fraser suites which was our home for the past 11 nights. It’s bittersweet as we are ready to move on, but it’s been a pretty good spot to be for the most part.

We had breakfast at the hotel and booked a cab to take us to the airport. It was a seamless trip. After checking our bags in we walked over to The Jewel which is a 7 storey massive shopping centre that is located at Changi Airport and also the home of one of Singapore most famous landmarks the rain vortex.

We spent some time at the jewel eating the last few things that we really wanted to try. Firstly we ate a cheesecake at Quiec by Olivia.

That was nasty. Then we tried a coconut iced drink from the ever popular Mr Coconut.

That was delicious and then we tried some Bakkwa which is pork that is dried and glazed, kind of like jerky.

After that it was time to get on the flight. Changi is a massive and very efficient airport. It was really simple and easy to get through. We boarded the flight to Penang which is about 1 hour and 20 minutes long.

Singapore airlines came through with the goods. It was an easy and chill flight. Julian was fine throughout, they served us a little slice of cheese pizza which was a nice touch.

We arrived in Penang airport which was much less nice than Changi, as we expected. We caught a taxi to our hotel The Prestige Penang which is a beautiful 5 star boutique hotel.

We went out briefly for dinner to a burger joint just up the road. Penang is known for its incredible street food which we will be getting all up in over the next few days. We needed something easy and familiar for our travel day and found it close by. A chicken burger, a fish burger and some chips did the job.

We’re having an easy night and turning in early to prepare for a massive few days ahead.
