Queensland road trip – Coffs Harbour – Day 14

Hi everyone.

Today was our first and only full day in Coffs Harbour. We started the day as we so very much enjoy doing with a scenic walk and a coffee. This time it was at a the Coffs Harbour Jetty which is a very beautiful location for our morning walk. Easily the nicest spot of the day.

Jet on the jetty
It was really quite nice here
A bit windy too

Then after this lovely walk we drove over to Coffs harbours number one attraction the big banana. It was a bit disappointing because Julian was really too little to partake in any of the activities. This would be great with older kids. Ronnie still went in the toboggan but found it annoying because there were very slow people in front of him. We also ate a burger with banana in it, surprisingly alright.

It’s big and it’s yella!

We then went home for busters sleep and after that we went out for a late lunch over to a place called the clog barn and big Omas coffeehouse. The clog barn was actually really cool. They had a miniature Dutch village that was free to visit. It was a nice little activity. Then we ate at big omas which has traditional Dutch food and delicious massive pancakes.

Rather cool
Weird Dutch food. Aimee liked it
Berrylicious

After that we decided to head back to the resort and have a swim in the pool

But then as soon as we’re out “water, water”

We spent some time driving around Coffs Harbour which is kind of a weird town. It’s hard to describe. It’s quite cramped and the traffic is heavy, but there are pockets of it that are nice. We leave early tomorrow morning for a very long drive.

Ronnie, Aimee and Julian.
