Hi everyone!
After a very early night we woke up very early this morning. Singapore doesn’t fully come alive until around 9-10am but we still headed down to breakfast at around 6:30am when it opened after already being up for a while. The breakfast at our hotel is just okay, nothing special but does the job.
We had tickets to the Cloud Forest & Flower Dome with first entry being 9am but we decided to head over early so we could explore the gardens outside before that. The closest MRT is at Great World where we were at yesterday but it’s really so convenient. It goes about every 3 minutes and we only had about 5 stops to go. The stations are spotless and spacious.

When we arrived we wandered along the bay and found a nice park for Julian to have a play. It was already scorching hot so we got some icy drinks from Starbucks to quench the thirst.

We then made our way to the Cloud Forest which currently has the Jurassic World Experience. We got up close to some very cool dinosaurs, walked along the Lost World walk which made our legs very jelly and got sprayed by the incredible indoor waterfall. We loved it!

After this we went to the Flower Dome. This is really impressive how they’ve cultivated so many gardens from different countries. They had the seasonal Sakura installation which was really beautiful to see.

The Cloud Forest and Flower Dome were beautifully air conditioned but we had to leave to check out the Supertree Groves. They are so impressive and the backdrop of the Marina Bay Sands makes a spectacular view.

We were hungry to now so we headed to Satay for the Bay for satay of course. We got some nice cold fresh juices and ordered our first set of chicken satay skewers. These were great but then we went to another stall for beef skewers and the sauce was amazing from there. Julian had some prawn fried rice. That’s a guy that loves prawns!

Unfortunately we then made a terrible mistake. We took the MRT to Marina Bay thinking it would get us to Marina Bay Sands and save our legs. It did not. We ended up further away than we were at Gardens By the Bay and took a very long walk in the boiling heat to rectify our mistake. Oops!

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is high class! The fanciest shopping mall we’ve ever been in. The air conditioning was lovely so we enjoyed a nice fruit cup here and killed some time before our next activity.

We headed to the ArtScience Museum. We had tickets to visit all of the exhibits. We saw art based around the anatomy of the human body, insects and the futuristic world, but the main attraction here is Teamlab Future World. This is an interactive digital art installation which was fun for all three of us.

We needed to cool off and rest so we had a long walk to the best MRT station to get us home. Our legs were burning and we were sweaty messes. We stopped at Chagee at Great World for an artisanal cold tea. Ronnie got Hojicha Genmai Milk Tea which was delicious. Aimee had Lemon Jasmine Tea which was refreshing.

After a nice rest we headed out for dinner close by at the Zion Riverside Hawker Centre. It is about a 9 minute walk, but boy does that 9 minutes sting in the humidity and after a very long day. We ended up getting pork wanton with chilli oil, char siu rice and some sugar cane juices, for a total of like $18. Lovely!

All up it was a fuckin enormous day. We are completely and utterly exhausted. Lucky we have a slow morning tomorrow.
